Leadership Impact is a revolutionary new tool to facilitate leadership development that connects leaders to the environment they create for their workgroups. Uniquely, it focuses on the situational factors in the workplace, as well as the person-based qualities of the leader.

Leadership Impact is a personality-based assessment of the leader, which reveals his/her likely impact on the workgroup.

The report focuses on the leader's natural style in terms of the balance he/she is likely to strike between challenging people and supporting them.

It focuses on leadership strengths and highlights the risks of leaders overusing these strengths without flexing their approach.

The report is structured around six key situation-based areas that leaders must impact positively to ensure that their workgroup feels motivated, energised, resilient and, above all, can deliver sustainable high performance. These situation-based areas are:

  • Sense of Purpose
  • In Control
  • Informed and Equipped
  • Balanced Workload
  • Well-Managed Change
  • Collaborative Relationships


The report also contains feedback on the resilience of leaders themselves because they can only support their team appropriately if they are able to deliver high levels of performance themselves when the pressure is on.

How does Leadership Impact work?

Leaders complete an online questionnaire and receive their Leadership Impact report electronically. The feedback in the report is designed specifically for senior managers and leaders, so it concentrates on providing insights and avoiding unnecessary information.

Feedback Options

Consultants can either feed the results back in person or train your own coaches to do so. This is an ideal way of integrating Leadership Impact with your existing leadership development programmes in a cost effective way.

How do clients use the Leadership Impact?

Leadership Impact has been designed to complement and fit with your existing ogranisation processes. It can be used both as part of an organisation-wide leadership development initiative, coaching programme, or with smaller sub-groups because both individual and aggregated group reports are available.

Vector

Vector is an extension of the Leadership Impact tool and is a process that connects the leader with his/her workgroups' perceptions of the key aspects of working life that determine important business level outcomes. Vector helps leaders to flex their natural style based on feedback from their workgroup about the kind of environment that they are working in.

In order to get a Vector report, the leader completes Leadership Impact and the members of his/her workgroup complete the ASSET questionnaire, which measures the key aspects of the workplace situation.
