Summary of course:

This course has been designed to provide training leading to the fulfilment for the British Psychological Society’s Certificate of Competence in the use of Ability tests. It replaces the old Level A qualification.

Who should attend:

This course is relevant to anyone wishing to use Ability/Aptitude tests for recruitment, selection or development purposes; tests in this area include verbal, numerical and inductive/abstract reasoning.

Test User: Occupational Ability is a recognised qualification which many consultancies and organisations require their assessors and recruiters to hold.

Pre-course requirements and course content:

Before attending the course, delegates are required to complete approx 12 hours of pre-course work broken in to modules. This pre-work should be completed before commencement of the course.

NB. With the exception of day 1, the workshops will commence at 09.00 and finish at 17.00 although approx 2 hours of evening work is required on days 1 and 2

Post course requirements

Within 3 months of attending the course, delegates are required to complete a small amount of field work which includes a case study and practical day report.
