TalentLens UK reports on our involvement at last week's TARGETjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards.
With graduate vacancies continuing to rise in 2016, this year's event was filled with innovative submissions from across UK industry. As a barometer of current market conditions, the volume and variety of entrants reflected a sense of positivity and quality.
The evening was ably hosted by Jack Whitehall, who ensured that the 1,200 guests were never far away from laughter.
For the second year in a row, TalentLens UK sponsored the Diversity Recruitment award.
The great thing about this award is that it celebrates the core of what we do - ensuring that candidates are considered in a fair and objective manner, regardless of their background.
This year's award saw submissions from Accenture, Barclays, Clifford Chance, Enterprise, FDM Group, IBM, L'Oréal, The Police, Reed Smith, and Thoughtworks.
The Diversity Recruitment award is voted for by a student panel, comprised of members of Enactus, which aims to promote entrepreneurship amongst students.
During the judging day in February, TalentLens acted as a mentor to a group of students, assessing the entrants for another award category.
The dedication exhibited by the students when comparing the entrants was second to none.
Many congratulations to them from all at TalentLens UK.
