Dr Peter Honey presented at the BETT 2014 Show on 'Helping people to become more effective learners.'
In his presentation, he describes the stages in the learning cycle and explores the merits of making the learning process more explicit. In an ideal word, people would be proactive, effective learners. Unfortunately, the world is not ideal and many people struggle with their learning or do it automatically, without knowing how. How can we help people to acquire learning skills that will equip them for lifelong learning in an increasingly complex, demanding world?
