How many times can I install Estrado software?

The software has an unlimited number of installations. However, software credits are required on each PC to score and produce a report for each candidate. Credits can be purchased by contacting Customer Services on +44 (0)845 630 8888 or email info@TalentLens.co.uk.

Please note Estrado may not be installed on a network in such a manner that more than one user may have access to the software at the same time.

What happens if I only want to use one of the tests and do not want to purchase all 4?

This is not a problem. There is only one software purchase, irrespective of the number of applications required. Usage is then charged on a credit basis, with different numbers of credits required for each application.

Is it possible to have the software enabled to use one of the tests at the moment, but have the option to add other applications in the future?

This is straightforward. We will only activate tests for which you are qualified. Other tests can be activated in the future.

I am Level A qualified, what tests will I have access to in Estrado?

When we supply Estrado it will automatically be activated for the Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal UK (W-GCTA UK) and the Rust Advanced Numerical Reasoning Appraisal (RANRA). However, the credit system ensures that you only pay for tests you use. If you are administering on-screen using Estrado, you will still need the relevant manual for each test. If you choose to administer in the pencil and paper format, you will need test booklets, record forms and scoring keys.

Can the Estrado report be saved as a Word file or in any other format?

The Estrado report is only available as a Microsoft Snapshot file. These are not editable (much like a pdf). Microsoft Snapshot is part of the Estrado installation.

You can view the Estrado report on a computer that does not have the Estrado software installed by just downloading Microsoft Snapshot for FREE from the Microsoft website.

The link to download Microsoft Snapshot is also provided in the Estrado User Guide:

"Reports can be printed, saved for later use, or emailed directly. Reports are in Microsoft snapshot format. Your windows system will already contain Microsoft Snapshot as part of the software installation. However, an email recipient may need to download free from the web:http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q175/2/74.ASP."
